Crippled Black Phoenix – new record / disco nuevo
They have already 4 albums out there, but I have just discovered this post-rock British band, Crippled Black Phoenix, and I have enjoyed listening to this track so much, that I can’t help myself to share my enthusiasm with my readers. A Letter Concerning Dogheads is the first single of their new release, (Mankind) The Crafty Ape, which is expected to come out on January 30th 2012. The band explains what this new work is all about on their website. I quote:
The thematic focus for this album is firmly planted in the corruption of mankind and injustice, but also ultimately in the hope that all is not lost, and that there’s a common thread connecting people of like-minds wherever you may travel. The music and themes have been created as to represent the world inside and outside of the mind, with no compromise.
Hope, again, a major theme in art. Give it a listen, you’ll not regret.
Ya tienen 4 discos en el mercado, pero yo acabo de descubrir a este grupo británico de post-rock llamado Crippled Black Phoenix, y he disfrutado tanto de este tema que no he podido resistirme a compartir el entusiasmo con mis lectores. A Letter Concerning Dogheads es el primer tema que se extrae de su nuevo lanzamiento, (Mankind) The Crafty Ape, que se espera para el 30 de enero del 2012. El grupo explica el nuevo disco en su web de la siguiente manera:
El foco de atención lo hemos puesto, en este disco, en la corrupción de la humanidad y en la injusticia, pero buscando en el fondo la esperanza de que no todo esté perdido aún, y de que exista un punto de unión común que acerque a personas de cualquier lugar del mundo que tengan la misma forma de pensar. La música y la temática se ha creado con la intención de representar tanto nuestro mundo interior como el exterior, sin ningún tipo de compromiso.
La esperanza, de nuevo, como tema central en el arte. Escúchenlo, no se arrepentirán.
